Ask any seller whether their Meru is hollow or solid, and what it weighs. A solid 3-inch brass Meru like ours is close to half a kilo; a hollow one is a shell that dents in the post.

About this piece

The Meru is the Shree Yantra raised into three dimensions, the nine triangles stepped into a pyramid with the bindu at the peak. Ours is cast solid in Moradabad, not a hollow shell, with each tier finished by hand so every level reads cleanly. Brass takes daily handling on a home or office altar and needs only an occasional polish. A red installation cloth and a mantra and placement card come with it.
