Pick one up and it feels heavier than brass, and warmer in colour. This Lakshmi and Ganesha pair is made in Moradabad from panchdhatu, a five-metal alloy, and given an antique finish rubbed by hand. Each murti stands 15 cm on a 9 cm base, and together they weigh 2.1 kg.
