Why it's traditionally used
The morning puja at a family altar follows a simple order: light the diya, offer kumkum, haldi and akshat, wave the incense, and close with camphor aarti. This tin holds the samagri for that order, so the daily puja to your ishta devata does not wait on a trip to the shop.
How to use
- Light the diya with a ghee wick before sunrise or at dusk.
- Offer akshat and kumkum, then incense in a clockwise motion.
- Close with camphor aarti and the aarti of your ishta devata.
Care
- Keep dry, out of direct sun, and dust with a soft cloth.
