Bilona ghee is granular and pale gold at room temperature. Cream-method ghee is smooth and darker, so you can tell them apart in the jar.

About this piece

For the diya on your altar and the naivedya you offer. This ghee is churned by hand from curd, not cream, the bilona way, with milk from free-grazing Gir cows at a gaushala in Saurashtra, Gujarat.
