About this piece

Pick it up and it feels far heavier than its size. A Parad Shivling, or Rasalingam, is made in Haridwar by binding purified mercury into a solid alloy through the traditional samskaras. A real one is silver-grey rather than mirror-bright, and leaves no black mark on your palm or on white cloth. Ours comes with a brass jalhari and a metal assay report stating the mercury percentage.
